This offends me.
I’m a feminist. I’m pretty liberal.
I’m Christian.
I don’t think they’re mutually exclusive and I think it takes a lot more brains to be Christian than not to be, because you really have to figure out your beliefs else it’s just a joke.
Well, I never mean for anything like this to be offensive though it may come off that way but my beliefs involve disbelieving yours. And I will keep them as long as live. I’ve lived without beliefs my entire life and its worked so far. And now I’ve gone from agnostic to straight atheist because it makes the most logical sense to me. But not to everyone and I will respect that, but this is image is still something I will always support.
It takes a lot more brains to be a feminist Christian…
Because you have to figure out ways to justify the oppressive nature of your bible. Or rationalize that Christianity is designed to make womyn hate themselves and is pretty much the opposite of what feminism is.
Does this offend you?
You know what offends me: 1 Corinthians 11:7-9
“For a man…is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman but woman for man. For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.”
God offends me, censor your cross
i’m highly offended when the verses of religious texts are taken out of context to insult or disprove the religion. respect people; coexist, simple as that.
Coexist?
How about exist?
How fucking long is Christianity going to determine who can or cannot abort or marry?
I’m tired of being told to coexist, I think history has proven that coexisiting with these filthy fucking wretched abominations is damn near impossible. When my best friends don’t have to vote on their marriage, you can tell me to coexist. When I can drive through fucking Kansas without having to see teen mothers being torn apart on every fucking billboard that I pass, then you can tell me to coexist. When kids stop getting drug behind the back of a pickup truck for being gay, and people stop waving signs that say “God Hates _________” then I will coexist. Until then I’m gonna spray paint an upside down cross on everything, and yell “Fuck God” every time I see people standing outside of a church. Because I’m angry, and I come from a people that coexisted fine for a thousand years prior to Jesus’s introduction to the western world.
And you can say it’s counter productive all you want.
Or that I’m being irrational.
Or that my hatred of this filthy fucking religion and it’s followers is only promoting ignorance. But that’s what you’ve been conditioned to say. If we want this world back we need to do so by the same means that those in power have been using for years, we need to fucking take it.
I have no tolerance for Christianity, Islam, Judaism, or any other religion when it is being used to oppress anyone. I refuse to coexist.
Censor your cross
christianity doesn’t dictate anything. the people who misinterpret it and misuse it, just as you are now, are the ones who oppress people. there have been many cases of oppression that do not have religious roots.
fuck censorship.
Cool. Athiesm dictates that we take responsibility for our actions, and don’t displace the necessary blame onto beings fictitious or otherwise.
I’m not talking about displacement and genocide that doesn’t have religious roots. Just because not all genocide is not backed by a religion, doesn’t mean that my argument is invalid.
Christianity acts as a terrorist cell. We don’t have one figurehead, everyone interprets their faith as something unique and beautiful, that way when someone does something ugly in the name of your god, you don’t have to take responsibility for it.
I’ll gladly take responsibility as Mikey Davis for any wrongs that I may commit, and for any murders that I may be guilty of.
Take responsibility for yours.
Fuck God
Well I fell into prison about a quarter till three Where I found in my cell a glass waiting for me So I filled what was empty and I pulled up a stool But he stood in the corner, the old devil wouldn’t move He said, “You drink when you’re lonely.” No I drink when I want! He said, “You’ll never be sober.” Sure. Why would I want that? I only drink to be merry but unfortunately I’m in the wrong prison cell and the wrong company
